♥ Visit to Kang Xi Exhibit

Saturday 23 May 2009

Met up with my good friend cum Museum Kaki (is this how you spell?) Anson for lunch.

It's been almost a year since we last saw each other...haha...

Had lunch at Raffles City Foodcourt. I tried this particular Taiwanese stall's Lu Rou Fan (鲁肉饭) . I had been missing this dish ever since I came back from the Taiwan trip last year. Yummy..

Not too bad, there's also a soup that comes with it.

Thereafter, we made our way to the Asian Civilisation Museum.

Wow, there were so many people at the museum, lots of tourists and locals.

But unfortunately, we are not allowed to take any photos of the Kang Xi exhibit. We went with the tour guide, to have a better understanding of the exhibits.

It was really scorching hot when we reached the museum. But when we left, the weather was much soothing. We ended the day with dinner at the Iluma--The Fish Manhattan Market.

And the funniest thing that happened---it actually blacked out three times when we were there. Luckily we finished our food, if not we would be eating in darkness. But still payment was not available as their cash register and computer work on electricity.

What a day! (sounds like writing a composition...hah...)

And yes, if some of you were wondering, we saw JezC and her friend at the museum too on the same day. Check out her blog for more details of the exhibit..she's so much diligent than me...haha..
