♥ So helpless sometimes...

Earlier today(monday) just had a briefing on the TA (attachment) this coming holidays. Time really flies... and soon i will be in year 3. I start having fear looming over me especially when i think about the practicum. I dont know but i think i might not have what it takes.

Its scary to think of it, to be standing there blank, not able to respond in time to the children. I'm not good at answering questions, and i start to think i'm really shallow. There are so much things that i dont know, what if i dont know my work well, what if i dont know how to convey well enough for the kids to understand, what if i cant manage them, what if i get stunned at one of their impromptu questions....

Do i have to end up hiding in the toilet? Is there enough time for me to brush up? Time is running out. One foot of mine is already in the trap, i cant get out, cant quit. I cant handle the consequences. By hook or by crook i have to endure. How much can i endure? Do i take things one step at a time? Or what?

This is an issue for me to ponder on after the exams i guess. A difficult issue. A difficult position.

My dear, you will be able to do fine. Children wont ask too difficult questions, but probably some weird questions. U are not shallow... definitely nope! Have some confidence! Sometimes, just dont take things to heart. Just know that some kids are a bit like small devils, so simply ignore them. Dont worry...

I'm a firm believer in 船到桥头自然直, so don't give yourself undue stress!! And you're definitely up to it so don't worry... And remember that teachers ye shi ren, they're not God so they're not supposed to know everything.. hee... Think you can employ the one day rule if things get desperate. Tell them you'll answer their questions the next school day and take the time to clarify their questions.. hee.. Kids are fun!! wheee
